Beginner and Intermediate Drum Instructor
April is currently part of “Bill Reese’s At the Hop Band” and they perform at places from Palmerton, PA to Alburtis, PA, and more! She is also the entertainment co-chairman for the Palmerton Area Community Festival.
April is a beginner/intermediate drum instructor. April has been playing the drums since she was 5 years old as well as other instruments including the guitar, piano, violin, saxophone and she sings. April is one of the owners here at Off the Charts Music School. She has been in bands since she was just a little girl when she sang with her family band “Dave Rehrig and The Twitty Fever Band.” This is where it all started for April as she grew her love for music. April is a self-taught drummer with a few pointers from her father, Dustin Rehrig. Not only was April involved with bands and performing, but she also worked as a monitor engineer at Penns Peak in Jim Thorpe. April has been on a few tours from Get the Led Out to even touring with the amazing Bruce In The USA, a Bruce Springsteen tribute band. Nowadays April is running the daily operations and teaching lessons at Off the Charts Music School.
