Program overview:
Off The Charts Music School will provide a learning experience from actual musicians. With these expert music instructors, the students will build technical skills and develop a foundation for performances.
Students will be learning their instrument skills from professional musicians who work in the music industry. The students’ learning experience will be fun, as they can learn their favorite songs and rock out to their favorite genre of music.
The students will want to practice at home as they do what they like and not have to practice the same chords or beat repeatedly. They can play songs and play along with the recording.
Private one-on-one lessons:
Lessons will include, vocal, guitar, piano, bass, drums and much more….
Students will be able to rehearse with their teacher on songs they enjoy. The lessons will be 30 minutes and include instruction on music theory, playing on a stage, performing in videos for social media, and preparing for auditions. The students will learn how to hold their instruments and all the techniques that follow correctly.
Performance Program: “Chart Toppers”
Off the Charts provides a performance program for beginner, intermediate and advanced students. The students will have exciting performances quarterly throughout the year, consisting of many different music styles. The performances are directed and created by the skilled instructors at our school. “Chart Toppers” when enrolled will be placed by their teachers into their OWN band!
They will learn 2 songs that will then be performed at our quarterly “Live” stage show at a venue near us! Each private lesson will be 45 minutes long, focusing on the songs picked for their performance with their individual teacher. Along with their weekly lesson, the students will have a one-hour rehearsal slot scheduled with their band (and OTCMS band director) in our private sound stage upstairs at our facility. Together they will be making music and memories to last a lifetime. Always wanted to be in a band?!? This is the time, and we will help you make one!
Music Together:
The program “Music Together” is a unique program for children with special needs. This program provides essential learning of the instrument of the student’s choice. The students will have one-on-one learning with an exceptional teacher who will help the student understand the music and how to play their instrument. This program will also provide a drum circle where the students will get together once a month and play on snare drums, bass drums, bongos, and more.
Advanced students:
For our advanced students, we have a “Star Band”. The “Star Band” is a group of advanced musicians that will perform together for special shows.
